RSM – Automotive Aftermarket
Triad Components Group (OptiFuse and Switch Components) as a unique opportunity for an Automotive Aftermarket Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position. The RSM role will focus on the light-duty and heavy-duty transportation industries working with known automotive warehouse distributors (WD), buying groups, and retailers.
Our ideal candidate is a highly skilled Sales Professional with a proven track record of successful selling to these customers. They have the unique ability to share our company value proposition with prospective clients and current customers using a consultative sales approach to expand our business footprint.
The applicant should be a dynamic individual who is creative, motivated, ambitious, highly organized, detail-oriented, curious, and able to navigate a complex and diverse supply chain. As an RSM, you will be tasked with adding new customers as well as growing our current customer base.
Field sales experience in the light-duty and heavy-duty automotive markets is essential. Experience with circuit protection and switch products is highly desirable.
- Travel to customer sites to develop, train, and maintain new business relationships with passenger and commercial component distributors, automotive aftermarket retailers, light-duty and heavy-duty automotive buying groups and co-ops.
- Regularly communicate and visit with distributor sales personnel to identify and help close new sales opportunities.
- Develop, train, and maintain an independent sales representative network.
- Analyze potential new markets and new products opportunities in the market.
- Maintain and implement customer pricing and promotions.
- Develop and manage sales incentive programs for key distributors and buying groups.
- Provide product training and application information to the distributor and rep sales personnel.
- Be a “brand ambassador” representing Triad Components Group at conferences, trade shows, and trade association meetings.
- Maintain budgets and expenses to expected levels and guidelines.
- Field sales experience in the light-duty and heavy-duty automotive markets.
- An existing relationship with key decision-makers in these markets.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- An outgoing and confident personality with a positive attitude.
- Goal driven with the ability to excel in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong market research skills, and analytical and computational aptitude.
- Ability to set priorities, plan and organize effectively.
